The Association of East Asian Nations (ASEAN) which includes Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalem, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR and Viet Nam will meet in Hua Hin, Thailand, from October 23 to 25.The ASEAN, ASEAN + 1 (ASEAN plus China), ASEAN + 3 (ASEAN plus China, South Korea and Japan) and East Asian Summit (ASEAN plus India, Australia and New Zealand) are held in Hua Hin, Thailand from Oct. 23-25.
According to Xinhua, documents to be signed by ministers include:
- Memorandum of Understanding between ASEAN and China on Cooperation in the Field of Intellectual Property;
- Memorandum of Understanding between ASEAN and China on Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of Standards, Technical Regulations and Conformity Assessment.
